Taken from the "Kleines Pandämonium" series exploring demons. Almost all peoples and cultures imagined some form or forms of demons populating their environment. They were considered to be intermediaries who bestowed divine gifts and shaped destinies. They appear as guardian spirits responsible for all manor of misfortune and vice. No part of the cosmos is inanimate, demons inhabit every element of every living thing.
